Zoo Shot 3

This is what happens when an animal's intensity overrides the photographer's ability to stay in photography mode. I kept shooting while the male lion roared at me, but I stopped looking through the camera and looked up at the lion while doing so. Did I mention this gallery is for our early efforts at photography? ::sheepish grin:: Looking at this image, it strikes me as a very amateur mistake. But sometimes just experiencing an encounter is more important than getting a shot of it. In the end, this photo became a great reminder for me.
