I hate them too, but this one doesn't seem very scary, Like Mike H. bellow, a triangular head or rattlers instantly makes me run the other way ,,, But I would grab this one either. That being said ... this is a very beautiful shot and you were lucky to even see it!
That didn't stop you from making a fine portrait of it.. I'm sitting in your same row on that, Jim -- especially if they have triangular heads and/ or tail rattles!!
