Mom & Dad Rufescent Herons checking out the baby-to-be. If you look carefully, you can see the egg is cracked and junior is about to make an entrance.

This nest is in an alcove of the hotel lobby, so I can keep an eye on junior's progress on the way out in the morning.

I did notice that the hotel seems to put eggs on darn near anything (pizza, cheeseburgers, etc...). I was wondering where they got all those eggs.
