The James is a misfit stream that finds a new path through the valley each year. It's exciting each spring to see how it has changed and what the runoff has delivered to "our" half mile of it's course. It attracks a wide variety of animals and birds, a few species of fish and every child that has ever set foot on the quarter. There is nothing more peaceful than watching and listening to it flow by.
