Hi Everyone,
Here's my story: Shortly after our high school graduation I left Mequon and never returned.
I spent six years in the Air Force, and had hardship tours in Greece, Hawaii, and Myrtle Beach.
I was a Pararescueman (PJ) for my last two years, which was really fun and adventurous. I nervously
separated from the Air force and I earned a B.A. from Southern Illinois University (yes, I went to college).
I've been working on Oracle software projects for 20 years now, with the past five as a private contractor
at the Veterans Administration. As many of you know, government work can be painful,
but the Salt Lake VA does have a good gym.
I was single through my 20s but have been married to a Hoosier for almost 17 years. We met just
after college and right before I started working at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. We have two beautiful
girls who are 14 and 9, but the attitude change of my oldest started about a year ago--HELP. We've been
living in the mountains of Park City, UT for 10 years now. We can get way too much snow, but the
summers make up for it--almost.
I'm sure I will regret not making the pilgrimage to Mequon this June (again). Perhaps my schedule
will change before then, but anyway I've really enjoyed the web site and the emails from y'all.
The pictures brought back a lot of memories, some of a criminal nature.
Cheers everyone! Be good.
Steve
