Beautiful array of colors, and the sunlit mountains are stunning. In my mind a compositional masterpiece.

This is one of my Favourites because of the clouds, the small (because of the perspective) and also grandeur montains - beautifully coloured. The word "MOOD" again.
I can feel the darkness is soon ariving, possibly some rain. And hidden deep in the forests and mountains waits a cougar or a bear. (I corrected me, first I wrote Beer, well that can also be a threath in some way.

You have captured this place under different lights. This one is so far my favorite. The colors are wonderful. The tree - highly contrasted in the foreground - is a really balancing element in the image.

A magical mix of serenity and motion. I feel as though I'm lying on my back and seeing a celestial land- and sky- and mountainscape. So so beautiful.

stunning in its range of color and depth!

Sublime with its blues and reds merging perfectly..I often think that people underestimate the impact of such a transition in a photo. Often lacking in a traditional sunset image, it is the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary. K

The sky and distant mountains are so beautiful here, I think the shot would work even work without the bush and with just a sliver of foreground.
You certainly captured the warmth here, even though you say it was cold!

I love the shot. Beautiful sky and red mountains in the background.

This is one of your most luscious landscapes, Jenene. The colors form a sublime golden trident in the sky, each cloud echoing the sun splashes on the mountains below. The bush in the foreground creates a layer that adds depth perspective and echoes the thrust of the clouds moving from right to left. So much depends here on your exposure -- it is beautifully understated, showing less and saying more.

Being relentlessly hot and humid here in S. California lately, I was just thinking how much I would enjoy being back there even as cold as I was on that mountain, Dale. (While you two were eating cheese and crackers and spicy mustard!) I think I'll wait for Arizona to cool off before I come back! -J

I think it's time to go back....however, it's currently more humid and considerably hotter.
