Terrific shadow play here! Hard to tell where the tree ends and the shadows begin, the combination of which forms a complex labyrinth! The human element, sky and church complete this composition nicely...

No matter how strange it sounds, but the light is bringing peace to this image: warm, and soft at the same time, creating this protective shadow for the walking person.

You give much space to that wonderful tree and its huge shadow -- it creates scale incongruity and suggests the partnership of man and nature. I photographed a similar subject in Beijing last year (http://www.pbase.com/image/58750579 ) but placed the emphasis on the incongruous differences between the man his shadow. I have the shadow of a tree as well, but it is not as overwhelming in scale as this one. It shows you how two photographs can use essentially the same concept -- people and trees and their shadows -- yet come away with entirely different expressions.

Yes it is well seen. Wonderful capture of shadow and light.

Very well seen. Multiple shadows on that wall really look fantastic. Great shot.

I'm smiling here here Jenene. Had I been in Tubac, I would have gone for the same shot :-)
