Kohoutek 1-16 (K1-16, PK 94+27.1, PN G094.0+27.4) planetary nebula in Draco. The blueish
star in the center is the associated white dwarf (WD 1821+643). Taken over many nights in
July and August 2011. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10,
on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The OIII and H-alpha subframes were 20 minutes binned 1x1,
while the RGB subframes were 4 minutes binned 2x2 resulting in the following total exposures
L:R:G:B = (OIII+HA):(R+Ha): (G+OIII):(B+OIII) (min) = (520+460): (64+460): (64+520):(64+520).
Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated, sigma combined in Iris with other processing using
PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
