Sharpless 2-91 (Sh2-91, SNR G065.3+05.7) in Cygnus. Also captured is the Planetary Nebula
PN G064.7+05.0 (showing up as a bright red “star”) located at top-right center at roughly the
1 o’clock position. Taken July 1, July 3, Aug 10, & Aug 14 2007 with a DSI Pro II and Outback
Cooler with a Pentax SMC- DFA 100 mm lens. H-alpha shubframes were 10 min and 15 min at f2.8 for a
total exposure of 300 min while the Oiii subframes were 12 min at f3.5 for a total exposure of 324
min. Noel Carboni’s tools were used to create a synthetic green for the final RGB composition.
Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ,
PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
