The Lowell Drive-In was built at 675 Pawtucket Blvd. in 1954 by Norman Glassman who also owned and operated Lowell's Rialto and Capitol Theaters. It operated until around 1980 and though the site remains relatively undeveloped, the screen and structures are gone and the property is now bordered by J.J. Boomers lounge and the Brunswick Zone bowling and entertainment complex.
