It wasn't until today that I noticed that I didn't have any other photos of Dakota except for this one with "flat Sophie" (who was a school project for my neice). Poor Dakota. He watched his owner die of cancer, lost his brother and his home. He ended up with me and my intention was to keep him, but he just didn't seem happy here. It was way too active for him, and he hid downstairs most of the time. He was very loyal and followed me everywhere I went when I was at work. He was really hard to give up because he trusted me so much. I found a great home for him in Louisville with no other animals. The family that adopted him couldn't have children, so he was going to be like an adopted child to them. Last I heard Dakota was doing extremely well in his new home and they were absolutely in love with him.
