Citizens have been told not to walk or ride bicycles on the levees. While I was shooting this photo, someone from the Pontchartrain Levee Board drove by on the top of the levee, going about 45-50 MPH. A 120-pound female on a 25-pound bicycle isn't allowed on the levee, but that jackass in a 6,000 pound pickup truck bouncing up and down is. Doesn't sound too smart to me.
