Shot at the same spot as the photo of 2 Aug 2010 in this gallery and also at a lens setting of 17mm. Water from the Missippi River has been leaking through the floodgates of the Bonnet Carre spillway for about two weeks, and yesterday 28 bays of the structure were opened. Another 44 were opened this morning. The plan is to open all 350 bays, so the water will get quite high here.
