From a shoot this morning with this little person, another shot of her with mum is HERE.
Not sure which I prefer, but eventually picked this for the look straight to camera.

i prefer this one. the soft focus effect is very appealing and the child's expression is timeless.

Such a cute shot. The expression looks so much older, too - not your typical baby's goofy smile - almost like he's saying: "which mode are you using? Did you set the exposure comp up one half stop, due to the skin tones? And make sure your shutter speed is high enough so there's no camera shake, OK?"
