This typical Engadin-style house was built in 1728 and for many generations was used as a farmhouse. The building served as a home, as a stable for the animals and as a barn for provisions. Later it underwent a number of renovations and was converted to a guesthouse.In June 2011 Hans-Ueli Regius took over the property and with his knowledge of Engadin and with great enthusiasm he made it his goal to make the Boutique Hotel ROMANTICA VAL TUOI an enhancement and contribution to the attractiveness of the beautiful village of Guarda. He manages the hotel personally as hotelier.
