Antwerp is the largest city in Flanders. Besides the many historical buildings that are reminiscent of the city's heyday in the 16th century, Antwerp boasts a lively shopping and entertainment scene as well as many cultural attractions.
The city is also known for its diamonds, fashion and Flemish artists such as Rubens and van Dyck, of whom many works can be admired in the local museums.
