Pediments of the windows follow similar drawings to the rest, ceramics painted blue. On the third floor includes a large central body with ceramic panels with eagles wings in blue on which appear the names of famous doctors : Letamendi , Mendoza, Gine ( Jiner in the spelling of the time) , Gimbernat , Virgil, Marsillach, Torrent and Soler . Both these panels and the windows of the second floor gallery of the central body are framed in stone columns and arches , and contain many elements of great iconographic value : canopies , pinnacles , gargoyles Gryphon , angels , shields of Barcelona and a large angel with wings extended on top of the facade and one on the rear facade .The figure on the pediment shield is the emblem of hospitals gathered , protected , and is crowned by two lions.
The building operations had the basement areas of disinfection , surgery rooms , anesthesia and postoperative rooms on the first floor , rooms for small surgery on the second floor , and technical areas of radiography and sterilization on the third floor
