The roof
Similar to an animal, the roof on the house is one of Antoni Gaudí´s most inspired works. He designed and ondulated surface, decorated with scale-like tiles and glaced ceramic work in shades of red, blue and green, to crown the façade and act as attic roof. On the edge of the area, he positiones some colorful spherical pieces combined with semi-circular mouldings that look like an animal´s spine.As crowning piece, Gaudi planned a bulbous shaped tower, which was made in Mallorca, topped with a cross pointing towards the four cardinal points.
