The two edges of the route going over the viaduct are flanked by tall flowerpots that are planted with aloes or agaves.Constructed like the columns of the porticos, these flowerpots have a palm tree like shape, with a trunk with bulging protrusions and a tulip-shaped crown.Amongst the pots, Antoni Gaudí designed rustic benches whose backs, with iron structure and stone decoration, act as railing.
