Uhniv (Ukrainian: Угнів, Polish: Uhnów, Yiddish: הובנוב) is a little town in Lviv Oblast (province) of Ukraine.
It is situated in former Eastern Galicia, or Western Ukraine, some 18 kilometers north of Rava Ruska, on the right bank of the Solokia River.
Until 1951 it was a Polish town, when, after a minor border readjustment, it passed to the Soviet Union (Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic). Since 1991 it has been part of independent Ukraine.
The Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin, built of brick, was erected in 1695.
