Ruins Of The Monastery

Belz, Ukraine

The Dominican convent was built in 17th century. It was a huge complex, with convent buildings, walls, church and belfry.
In 1944 all the convent buildings were in fire and since then are staying in ruins.

This creates such a powerful mood with the dark clouds and the ruined walls. It transports us back into the past, but then the children playing there return us to the modern age. A wonderful shot, complex and beautiful!
