On Nov. 1st and 2nd - All Saints Days and All Souls Day - there is a tradition in Poland that we honor those who have gone from this world. People visit the tombs and graves, put flowers and light the candles or special decorative lanterns. Those two days and the following ones the cemeteries look so beautiful.

Czas wspomnien i wspominanych...super kompozycja o czasie Jolu. Hard to believe it's already been a year since my visit there. Thx for bringing back memories. V

I do love this tradition. When I was small we visited with little posies of flowers every Sunday & when I go home I still do it.

What a lovely tradition to have... the graves do look rather special with so many fresh blooms on show!

What a touching image. Such a wonderful tradition. The golden fall tree enhances the colors of the beautiful flowers. The path, as a leading line, takes the viewer's eye through the photo. Very nicely shot.
