Before Easter in many places in Warsaw, like little squares, markets, streets, people from other regions come and sell traditional articles and food.
These eggs, called PISANKI - wooden ones (in the cardboard boxes) or real ones, hard boiled (in the paper eggplates) - were tinted and hand decorated and brought from the North-East Poland region called Podlasie.
