Short before Easter in many places in Warsaw, like little squares, markets, streets, people from other regions come and sell traditional articles, displaying them sometimes streight on the ground.
These eggs, called PISANKI - wooden ones (in the baskets) or real ones, hard boiled (in the cardboard boxes) - were tinted and hand decorated and brought from the North-East Poland region called Podlasie.
