20060305 End of The Pier

Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England

Here's a tip for visitors to Britain: - keep away from traditional
English seaside towns. They are drab, decaying, the food is terrible,
there are no facilities, the service is poor, and then there is the weather!

Made the mistake of going to Weston-Super-Mare today - never again!

(End of rant!)

Grr - please don't knock Weston! I went there every year when I was a kid!
(Can't wait to go there with my camera!)
p.s. - a tip: Around the corner there is an older abandoned pier - not to be missed!
