The S&NC crew rolls SB along the scenic upper Hudson River in the Adirondack Park. The week of June 20th was the first week for preliminary S&NC train activity on this line. They are headed for Corinth to retrieve 2 coaches to bring back to North Creek in prep for the start of new service. The Saratoga and North Creek is scheduled to start passenger service in July on the ex D&H Adirondack Main between Saratoga and North Creek. This will be the first regular scheduled service thru this area since the D&H ended freight service on this section of track on November 17, 1989. The Upper Hudson River RR ran sporadic excursion trains on this section prior to Iowa Pacific taking over service on this line. June 25, 2011 GE B39-8E (Dash 8-39BE)
