She's a bird dog

There was a sleepy Greenfinch in the garden,
Holly was under strict instructions not to eat it!
Eventually it flew away.

The Everley's did it better, but here goes...
"Hey, bird dog get away from my quail
Hey, bird dog you're on the wrong trail
Bird dog you better leave my lovey-dove alone
Hey, bird dog get away from my chick
Hey, bird dog you better get away quick
Bird dog you better find a chicken little of your own"
..Hello ! ;-))

We have made our dogs respect the right of birds at our place too. Good girl, Holly !!!

Cute shot; Max wouldn't have eaten it but, being somewhat clumsy, may have stepped on it!
