Holly in the snow

view map

Spare a thought for the hill farmer like Eric, custodians of our landscape
Profit margins are being squeezed by rising feed prices and pressure from supermarkets
and then right at the beginning of lambing time this happens
it's a hard life

A black dog on snow... the perfect combination :)
What a wonderful winter-scape, sunny....... polar-like!

Hard indeed and taken for granted.
Great photo of Holly and the snow though. Could be the arctic. Vote.

Nice picture John, some hill farmers around here are selling up.
Very few buyers around.

Wow! I thought you had gone Easyjet to the North Pole! What a wonderful shot!

Farmers are never happier than when they are moaning!

The title sounds like a Christmas tune. The story is more of a horror.
