Low Bishopley Farm

The origins of Low Bishopley go back to the time of the Prince Bishops of Durham, who ruled much of northern England. They are reputed to have had a hunting lodge and Chapel here. There are also records of a fish pond used by the monks - they must have been fish Friars.
