The progression is looking good. Great update shot of the building. V

Is there none of the original cottage left? Looks like a complete rebuild - such a shame the original was so charming.
Sheila11-Jan-2012 01:13
Ha, Laine asked the same question I was going to ask.
It already looks very tidy compared to the quaintness of the original.
Looking forward to seeing more of this subject.

Is Kevin McLeod and the Grand Designs team there too ???
Cindi Smith10-Jan-2012 21:51
Looks like they are getting everything redone!
Kevin Chester10-Jan-2012 21:40
I hope they make it look like the original, minus the leaks of course
malcolm haslam10-Jan-2012 21:24
Can't wait to see how it turns out...great series of pictures, by the way.
:-)
Brian Samuel10-Jan-2012 20:49
Promising start - no one in sight, must be the builders tea break.
Guest 10-Jan-2012 20:07
Looking nice, hope the water never rises to a dangerous level.
Guest 10-Jan-2012 20:06
Will they be using hydro electric in the modern green world
Guest 10-Jan-2012 19:52
perhaps powered by the rushing water...new hopes for it with modern technology
Faye White10-Jan-2012 18:24
I have to agree with Chris, it may be rebuilt but the charm and quaintness can never be replicated.
Zak10-Jan-2012 18:17
the builders must be invisible!
Stephanie10-Jan-2012 18:15
I'll bet that this will be charming once the renovation is completed! I wonder if they have flooding problems from time-to-time?
Bill Miller10-Jan-2012 18:14
Not much mill or cottage at the moment. Interesting gallery John.
Phillip Normanton10-Jan-2012 17:41
Still not finished then! :o)
J. Scott Coile10-Jan-2012 17:13
Looks like a lovely restoration.
Chris Morton10-Jan-2012 17:08
Oh dear is this the sweet, albeit needing loving care, cottage you posted before? Should a law against using lines and levels on that sort of property
Doug Cruden10-Jan-2012 17:06
...and floorless too by the looks of it!!
Colin Storey10-Jan-2012 17:00
Looks like progress though, that will be a stunning place to live when completed.
globalgadabout10-Jan-2012 16:48
it's coming along, though progress seems slow...might be good to finish the support walls before trying to add a roof..hopefully the river doesn't erode much more of the banks..
beverley harrison10-Jan-2012 16:46
Not really a cottage anymore is it? I wonder if the name will change too?
