This was very near the end of the line of Tiger Cubs produced by the Olivers and for those interested in the history of the Oliver Tiger range of engines, I can do no better than to refer you to John Goodall's book: "Two Olivers and a Tiger" and published by Barton Model Products - www.bamopro.co.uk
Because the needle valve assembly boss on the crankcase just below the needle valve is undrilled, I believe that this engine was fitted with the Cox type carburettor before it left the works
