The Snow Rose 6

There is a little story associated with this rose: At Autumn clean-up time in the back garden
I discovered a rose bush that had been smothered all summer by a large growth of tall daisies.
I felt guilty about neglecting it and so left it alone to give it a chance to grow a little.
Not only did it grow, but it had some very very late flowers - one of which here is shown covered
by the first light snows of November 2005. I call this my "Snow Rose" now,
and next Spring it will be encouraged to flower at the correct time!

Nice photo, how'd the rose get in the snow? I didn't think they bloom in winter... well, not where I live that is! Good work

Outstanding photo of a poor snow-raped rose. All so crystal clear and well lit.
