That's the trouble with mushrooms...whenever they are around, it means the soil is damp. Nice photo of this late season version. We just had quite a bit of rain, so maybe I'll keep an eye out for one.

Did not know Wilde was in photography.Usually I use old trousers and shirts and ly flat on my belly for mushrooms.

But John, the shot was worth it! I think it was, but then I didn't have to try to get back up! Granted, that is becoming a formidable task!
