Young kestrel

This camera/lens is incredible. This is a 100% crop, taken at a distance of 30 metres (100 ft) with the 110 mm lens at full stretch, and with no post-processing CA correction. What more could you ask?

Hurrah! Wonderful job by you and the J1!

Cute little beast. The reach of the lens/camera is needed with these falcons, they don't like to let people get close.

Well done, John! Your kestrel has a bit different coloration than ours. Any kestrel is a lovely bird. I think the 30-110 is my most used lens on my V1.
