I did the taxes today for our little Subchapter S Corporation. It didn't take too long to do it because over the years I had made notes and built spreadsheets that make the process relatively easy. Actually, in the future, President Obama is going to make taxes a lot easier. There will be a single line to fill in and a single instruction:

1._______________ Enter on line 1 the amount you made in the current tax year.

2. Send it in.

Exzim got it wrong, I think. It's multiply by 3. I heard it on NPR.

You have line 2 wrong John, it actually reads ' Add 10% and send it in.

Your practice of making notes and building spreadsheets reminds me of a tenet of process development work. The only way to be able to improve a process is to know exactly how it works in the first place. Knowledge is power.

Your tax form statement made me laugh.
