Ian, I have lived under the flight path to London Airport for 28 years, believe me, I know what the Concord looked and sounded like. You do not sleep when Concord is directly over your house.
Nice first UFO photo. There are some similarities between your first UFO photo and my first UFO photo: same year; taken while in a motor vehicle; on a road near bushes; bright white light in the sky. There is one difference, however: the ship's exhaust melted my camera and destroyed the film therein. Thus I have no photographic record of the event (memories are precious!). It's nice that you still have this record of your start in UFO photography.
