RUSSIAN VINE

This was to have been a macro of a bee, but as is life with a mid range digi
it had flown before the shutter opened. I thought the shot was OK anyway
but needed a crop, when I viewed the original size image I found a clue
about where or why the bee went AWOL.
The answer is in the picture.

Looks like what we call climbing false buckwheat ( Polygonum scandens ). Definitely polygonaceous -- I can see the ocrea.

I learn something new every day...
Today I learn that this plant is called Russian Vine. Thanks Jim!
It must be that spider...I'm scared of spiders too. yuck!

Would it be a spider by any chance?
