One Blackfriars or 'The Vase'

One Blackfriars is a mixed-use development, informally known as The Vase due its shape.

The development is made up of a 52-storey tower of a maximum height of 170 m. Uses include residential flats, a hotel and retail. There is a workman on the roof! Picture taken from the viewing gallery of the Tate Modern building (former Bank power station) and this is reflected in the lower stories of The Vase.

Behind and to the left is the South Bank Tower (155m).
