Cades Cove. What a beautiful valley with church. I had searched for the vantage point since seeing a pamphlet cover, fall view, of this scene. When I located the long view, tree growth along the grave yard blocked a good shot. I wonder if a blimp fly over would be allowed by the NPS? ;-)

this is so peaceful, love the early morning light. When I was there June 2006 I didnt know about this higher view of this beautiful scene :)

It's so nice to see this without fall colors. And what amazing light you had on this morning. I am going up tomorrow I hope to see the same. Just a few more years left then with the tree growth this classic view of Cades Cove will be gone.
