I went looking for this bird again after failing to find it a few weeks ago. The woods were quiet and snowy, except for a few chickadees playing tag in the treetops, and I thought at first I would never find it without the help of the crows. As I was walking back the way I came, the owl suddenly flew out of the woods and landed in a tree not far from where I was standing!
