Barred Owl sleeping

I was quite surprised to find this owl in the woods today as there were no crows to lead me to him...I just happened to look up and see his tail hanging down above me!
He was enjoying a peaceful sleep and didn't seem interested in me at all when he realized I was keeping my distance.
