Striped Skunk family

Kanata, Ontario

I was unaware that a skunk had been nesting under my step again until one morning when I saw a whole family on my front lawn. I saw one adult and at
least six or seven young. Eventually they made their way to the hole leading under my front step and disappeared after a long night of foraging for food.

I sure hope these guys survived and thrived and went somewhere safer than a built up area where not everyone would be as accommodating as you are. Lovely shot of this little family! V
