Cheryl was a sport.
I needed to test out a new speedlight set-up for a shoot scheduled for Wednesday. We were hoping to shoot outside using natural light but as luck would have it, it will be thunderstorming that day. I needed a "model" and Cheryl was nice enough to help me out.
Technically, this photo leaves much to be desired. The catchlights could be better. The climbing hold "growing" out of Cheryl's head is distracting. The backlight is a little hot. The moire in Cheryl's top looks strange. I can go on and on with the criticism.
The one thing right about this photo is the subject. Cheryl was a lot of fun to photograph and was very patient with me.
She is a natural and belongs in front of the lens, as much as on the rock wall.
