I love matzoh ball soup.
The matzoh ball soup that I know is usually from the diner up the street from the climbing gym. I order it at almost every visit. My buddy, Alan, always assured me that I hadn't really had matzoh ball soup until I've had some that was homemade. Tonight I had that opportunity.
Alan's family was kind enough to open up there home to me on this important holiday. It was wonderful joining them for tonight's Ceder. From reading of the Haggadah, I learned a little bit about Jewish culture and history. I also experienced a beautiful gathering of family and loved-ones.
Tonight's experience helped to make the World a little bigger for me. Matzoh ball soup will have much more meaning for me now.
