April-11-2005

It's the details that matter.
Tonight we had a fantastic session at the rock gym with Peak Potential, our adaptive rock climbing program for children with disabilities ( http://www.peakclimb.org/ ). The kids and volunteers created such a wonderful atmosphere. It really lifted my spirits.
I noticed Eva's ribbons in her hair which matched her clothes very well. Eva's mother must have taken great care in selecting and tying these ribbons.
It is said that to love another person is to see the face of God.
I believe that this attention to small detail such as these ribbons is an expression of this deep love...an example of such Grace.

At first I thought this was a dancer or something in the wind. How delightful to see what it was up close!
