LIVE FISH...DEAD FISH.
I had the chance to have dinner with my family tonight. The dinner was delicious and spending time with the family was wonderful. We live such hectic lives that even though we all live within 45 minutes from each other, that doesn't guarantee that we get much time to sit down for a meal together.
We went to one of my favorite restaurants, Zen, which is in Livingston (or is it East Hanover...never mind). The sushi is fresh and yummy. We, however, sat at the table by the large fish tank which was kinda strange. These poor guys have to spend their lives swimming around watching their fellow fish be devoured raw, not knowing if they will be next at any moment. I imagine that that could be torture. Little do they know that they are much too small to be worth the trouble. Or, they may have no clue about anything and just exist.
Anyway, I think the wine is going to my brain. As for tomorrow, I'll just keep on swimming (to quote another famous fish) for as long as I'm not the fish on the plate.
