House Sparrow deterrent using 25 lb. test fluorescent fishing line with washers for weights. No other species seem to be deterred by this. I don't know why this works, but it does.

Thanks loads for this. I'm going to try it immediately. You don't by chance have any miracle solution for keeping house sparrows out of my nesting boxes without making the hole so small only wrens can use them? Or keeping them out of my screech owl nesting box? (Not to mention the squirrels!) Thanks again!
