PUBLIX -- Where Shopping is a Pleasure

Can grocery shopping be a pleasure? At Publix it is!

Founded in 1930, Publix Super Markets is the largest and fastest-growing
employee-owned supermarket chain in the United States.
There are other grocery chains around here, but none of them can beat Publix!

Also...my very first job ever was as a cashier at a Publix way back in 1964.

Nice photo. I'm a Wegmans shopper but I worked at Star Markets as a cashier. My parents shop in Publix while wintering in FL and we have too while down there.

Employee owned...what a bonus !!
It has an ambience about it that would make the shopper feel comfortable. A great angle Janet!

Great photo from above, looks very nice. Nice to learn it is employee owned. Much better than the big chains where we have not shopped in years.

This does look like a beautiful store! Wish we had one here.
A new Wegman's is supposed to open up 9 miles from home. Can't wait for that to happen! :)

It looks very similar to the inside of a Wegmans store (Rochester, NY). Wegmans usually makes the top of the list of the best places to work in the US (they give benefits to all the part-timers). Capitalism at its best, I guess. Nice shot.
