THE FIRST STEP ON THE LEFT EDGE OF THE GRAPHS SHOW THAT THE STOCK CLUTCH ENGAGES NEAR 3500-4800RPM. THE ENGAGEMENT RPMS ARE HIGHER WHEN MORE THROTTLE IS APPLIED, BUT ARE NOWHERE NEAR THE RPMS WHERE THE MOTOR IS MAKING BEST TORQUE OR POWER.
*****THUS, THE REASON WHY STIFFER CLUTCH SPRINGS ARE POPULAR. THE HIGHER RPMS ALLOW THE MOTOR TO MAKE MORE TORQUE AND ACCELERATE HARDER FROM A DEAD STOP. THE CLUTCH SPRINGS HAVE NO EFFECT AFTER THE CLUTCH HAS LOCKED, OR ABOVE ~6000RPM.
