Kitchen table Hi-Tech!
Time was precious so I had to use whatever happened to be at hand. A few pieces of stout cardboard were cut and stuck together to form a primitive turntable strong and stable enough to support the 828. The simulated tripod attachment pivot point is made up from a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew and a corrsponding thread reducer plug (see series of pano bracket details images in the other gallery here!).
The camera was placed on a tripod ball head so that it could be carefully moved backwards and forwards along the scale marked with distances from the pivoting point - see next image!
